About Us

Church ViewA love for Sicily...
We have been going to Sicily regularly for fifteen years, often two or three times a year. Sicily has a habit of drawing you to it and it seems such a vibrant and exciting place to be. We love the Island so much that we have bought our own house on the slopes of Mount Etna with a garden large enough to produce about a thousand litres of our own wine. We are still doing the house up and it is not ready to rent yet.

Roman AmphitheatreThe beginning...
We know lots of Sicilian people through our aunt who lives and teaches in Sicily and who acts as a guide and interpreter for visitors. Every time we went to Sicily someone would ask us to try and advertise their holiday home for them back in England and we would smile and say we would think about it.

The owners are people who are busy working, for example, one owner is a jeweller, one is a baker, one is lawyer, and they needed someone else to sort out their houses and this is where we come in.

Lava meets snow!Advertising holiday homes...
We realised that we knew at least 15 people with homes that were empty for most of the year and that we could help them and as they were always so kind and generous to us, we thought we would try to return their kindness. So we started to tell our friends who then rented the houses. That is how Villas in Sicily started and we aim to rent out villas and holiday homes that belong to the Sicilian people and to introduce to people the real Sicily.

Making the most out of your holidays...
Going to Sicily is not like any other place, there is no English food and away form the tourist resorts English is not widely spoken, although younger people if they hear you will be desperate to practise talking to you. Even so the people are so warm and friendly and willing to help. We have detailed knowledge of all the villas and apartments as we have stayed in them ourselves over the years. We also can advise people of where to go and what to do suited to their own individual needs. And if anyone needs help when they are there we have our overseas adviser who is English.

Adventurous?
If you are willing to try a new way of spending your holiday, take a look at what there is to offer. How many people do you know that have been to Sicily? Sounds like a real change from the Costa del ‘Same every year’ doesn’t it!
