Riposto
joins on to Giarre and it is the part of the
town where the Porto Dell'Etna can be found. Here there is a safe marina
for boats and yachts both local and foreign. Facilities include shops, public
offices, a welcoming lounge bar, restaurant, club house and car
hire.
There are also local fish markets where the fishermen take their catches to sell and a general fruit market can be found along the sea front. To the right of the port is a long sea promenade all the way to the seaside town of Torre. From Riposto views of the coast round to Taormina and the Italian coast line can be seen.
Turn
left out of Riposto and drive along the road and you will find many places
for restaurants and bars. Continue along this road and you will find beach
entrances from the road and here there are lidos where sun loungers and
umbrellas can be hired. The road eventually joins the town of Fondachello.
