Cycling is a very popular past time in Italy and Sicily. Cycling clubs can be seen on the roads around Mt. Etna speeding along in their bright suits all year round. Cycling is a good way of exploring the countryside and soaking up the atmosphere. A full circuit of the mountain using mountain tracks is a possible tour usually a full day or two depending upon the fitness level of the participants!
