This very traditional property was built in 1806. It is set in a dominating position with spectacular views from the large terrace down to the coast for miles and miles. To the rear of the property are uninterrupted views of Mount Etna and surrounding countryside which can be enjoyed from the rear terrace. Casa Mirella is an ideal house for those who like the peace and quiet of the countryside. Milo,the local town is 3 minutes away by car and has pizzerias, bars and local shops for supplies.

Casa Mirella has a large living room with comfortable seating and a separate dining area. Two sets of French doors open onto a beautiful terrace with fantastic views over the coast of Sicily and southern Italy.All year round patio furniture and a large table are provided so that the panorama can be appreciated. It is wonderful to sit outside in the summer eating in the open air.Watching the sunrise over the sea is spectacular. Sunset behind Mt. Etna is just as inspiring and you can enjoy both from this house.

Leading off the living room is a double bedroom with its own French doors leading onto the same terrace. Magnificent views of the coast can be seen from here.

A second double room and a twin room complete the sleeping accommodation both with countryside or mountain views of their own. A further twin room can be provided in the open plan Sicilian loft area up a flight of steps found in the living room.

A simply fitted kitchen has a breakfast table, gas cooker and oven, fridge freezer and cupboards. French doors lead onto the rear terrace with views of the mountain and a terraced vineyard.More patio furniture is found here for admiring the view. An outside washing basin with a clothes airer is found at the far end of the terrace.

The bathroom has a half bath and shower. Heating is provided in the form of storage and electric heaters in winter

Please note as Casa Mirella is on the upper floor of the building (a large wine store is underneath!), a flight of stone steps has to be climbed to reach the entrance. Car hire is essential.
