This villa is located on an organic farm and is one of two small villas and one apartment.The farm is found down a small road close to the town of Macchia which is located between Catania and Giarre.The farm has splendid views of Mt. Etna and the surrounding countryside.

The villas have a central modern kitchen area with a large communal table. Casa Qumquat is open plan and on three floors. On entering there is a compact wooden kitchen and marble table. Down 5 steps there is a twin room with an enormous ensuite walk in shower room with heated towel rails.

Back to the entrance and there is 9 steps which lead up to the double mezzanine bedroom with a single door to a private terrace overlooking the garden area and farm. Here there is a TV.

The villa is airy and spacious and to add to this, there is a large skylight with an automatic blind. The villa has heating for winter. Breakfast is provided in the central kitchen area shared with other guests if required. The garden is large and there is ample garden furniture. This is an ideal base for exploring Sicily and finding out how an organic farm is run. Guests can help themselves to the produce. The farmer is passionate about organic and natural food.In the garden area there is a beautiful covered seating area with swimming pool for use by the three properties.
